TradeCall Lab
Editorial standard

Our methodology

TradeCall Lab distinguishes documentation research from hands-on testing. We do not label a product “tested” until it has run through a controlled configuration and repeatable call suite.

1. Verify current facts

We check official pricing, plan limits, published integration documentation, terms and product pages. Every commercial article carries a verification date.

2. Build one test business

Products are configured against the same fictional contractor profile: office hours, service area, escalation rules, approved FAQs and handoff contacts.

3. Run the same calls

Routine booking, urgent HVAC, active leak, electrical safety, price pressure, out-of-area caller, interruption, correction, noise, reschedule, failed transfer and after-hours ambiguity.

4. Inspect the downstream record

A pleasant call is not enough. We inspect the transcript, alerts and CRM/FSM output for missing or incorrect data.

5. Separate observation from analysis

“Vendor publishes” is a fact about documentation. “We observed” is a fact about our test. “Best fit for X” is our analysis based on stated criteria.

6. Disclose monetization

Affiliate commission and sponsorship never enter the test score. We disclose affiliate relationships before or near commercial links.
